Man charged with lemonade stand enticement rearrested
WAUKESHA – A man accused of kissing a young girl selling lemonade is back in jail.
Gregory Davis, 60, posted bail Friday after being charged with child enticement this past June.
The same day, the mother of the alleged child victim contacted authorities, claiming Davis called her home and asked how the girl was doing.
She told investigators Davis was crying on the other end of the line.
Deputies tracked the call to a Waukesha hotel. They found him in a room with a case of beer and opened beer cans. Drinking alcohol is a clear violation of Davis’ bond conditions.
They also ordered no contact with any of the victims or their families. Deputies promptly arrested the man.
Davis’ attorney tells TODAY’S TMJ4 he’s working out a deal with prosecutors on charges.
If that doesn’t pan out, the man heads to trial Tuesday.
