COLUMBIA FALLS, ME – The annual tradition of laying wreaths at graves in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia may come up short this year.

The group behind the tradition, "Wreaths Across America," based in Maine, says they are $500,000 short of their fundraising goal, which means about 35,000 fewer wreaths.

Each wreath costs $15 and can be sponsored at waastore.com.

The wreath laying is Saturday, Dec 14.
