Woman from Milwaukee caught with gun at airport in Chicago
CHICAGO - A Milwaukee woman is accused of trying to carry a loaded gun onto an airplane at Chicago's O'Hare airport Friday.
Angelique Kittell is seven months pregnant and is a convicted bank robber.
Security screeners say they spotted the loaded pistol in the 26-year-old's backpack before she tried to board a plane.
Kittel is banned from owning a gun after robbing the Mid-America bank at 76th and Oklahoma back in 2007.
Earl Roberts told TODAY'S TMJ4 his sister, who worked at the bank was terrified.
"She said she was scared because she had a gun to her head. So she thought for sure she was going to get shot." Roberts said.
Kittell was one of four who took part in the robbery.
She served just one day in jail and was given three years on probation.
In her latest run in with the law, in court her attorney told a Judge, Kittell didn't know the weapon was in her backpack.
Her bail was set at $50,000.
She's scheduled to return to court in Feb.
