Wolf hunt zone meets quota, shuts down
WISCONSIN - The DNR is shutting down the largest wolf hunt zone in the state.
Zone 6, which covers most of Northeast Wisconsin, will close Thursday at 2:00 p.m. after reaching the harvest quota. Four other zones have also been closed. The only area that will remain open after Thursday is Zone 3 in Northwestern Wisconsin.
