White House releases review of NSA conduct
WASHINGTON, DC – The White House is releasing details about the review of the NSA following the leaks by exiled former government contractor Edward Snowden.
A review panel is suggesting dozens of ways the spy agency can be more transparent and accountable. One recommendation is for phone companies to continue collecting data, but not hand it over to the NSA without a court order.
President Obama is expected to deliver an executive decision in January.
