West Allis strip club owner charged with sexual assault
WEST ALLIS - The former owner of a strip club in West Allis has been charged with sexual assault, three years after the alleged crime occurred.
One of the victims had claimed the assault took place at the Crazy Horse Gentleman’s Club on June 2, 2010. According to the Journal Sentinel, the woman was with a friend and the club’s owner, Dino LaLicata, at the club. The woman admitted to drinking, but felt her drink was spiked with the date rape drug because she later passed out.
The woman later woke up and took a cab home at 5 a.m., but her friend told her the owner of the strip had sexually assaulted both of them the night before.
The women went to West Allis Police two days later, but the case hit a roadblock because one woman had been passed out, and the other later recanted and refused to testify, citing her right against self-incrimination.
The case has since been given new life after a videotape surfaced showing the alleged crime. It is not clear how the tape was found, but LaLicata has now been charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of perjury.
