Weekend events in Milwaukee include Irish Fest and Lebowski Fest
MILWAUKEE - Everyone's Irish this weekend in Wisconsin! It’s Celtic culture, cuisine and canines.
Even the pooch has a place at the 33rd Annual Irish Fest. And don’t forget the wee ones at leprechaun village. There are daily gatherings by the children's area. While you’re there, grab some corned beef and cabbage or perhaps some green beer.
Irish Fest is free for kids 12 and under, and runs all weekend on Summerfest grounds.
Dude and dudettes will be out in full force for some White Russians at Lebowski Fest. The festival begins Friday night at Cathedral Square Park in Milwaukee. The Big Lebowski will be shown on a big screen. there will be a Lebowski-oke after-party then you can bowl a few frames on Saturday.
Also this weekend, ladies and gentlemen can get their shop on this weekend. Stroll through the historic Third Ward for some amazing sales and great food. It's a sidewalk sale with style.
