It's starting to feel like summer, just as August is winding down. Don't worry though, there are plenty of festivals and events this weekend to keep you busy:

Grab a partner and learn how to salsa to the sounds of meringue music or perhaps a mariachi band at Mexican Fiesta. The festival kicks off Friday at the Summerfest grounds and runs through the Sunday.
Rare, vintage and classic cars will be on display at the Masterpiece Car Show at Veterans Park. If you consider yourself a gearhead or just enjoy the sleek style of a rare ride, put the pedal to the metal to the lakefront.
Watch the area's best surfers and learn how to hang ten at Atwater Beach in Shorewood on Saturday. The Surf at Water Festival is a film festival and celebration at the beach. There will be traditional Hawaiian music, sand castles and surfing lessons for those interested.
Head to the Milwaukee County Zoo this Saturday for a behind the scenes look at where the animals sleep, eat and play when their not on exhibit.  You also get to see where the flamingos, zebra's and and other warm-climate animals stay when winter arrives in Wisconsin.
