Waukesha man arrested on 5th DUI

TOWN OF RAYMOND -- A 44-year-old Waukesha man was arrested for his 5th DUI following a high-speed chase Wednesday afternoon.

Police said a deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle going 95 mph along I-94.

The suspect's vehicle attempted to exit at the 27th Street exit ramp, lost control and crashed his vehicle, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Office.

He fled from the vehicle and was subsequently apprehended by the K9 officer after a foot chase. 

The suspect did not have a valid license and alcohol is suspected to have been a contributing factor in the incident.
