WAUKESHA - The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a letter they received that said that in the late 1950s (possibly fall of 1957 or 1958) a homicide occurred near a low lying bridge on Okauchee Lake.

"The author describes the victim as a white male with dark hair wearing blue jeans and a dark colored jacket, and may have operated a truck at the time of the incident," said Waukesha County Sheriff Daniel Trawicki. "The letter also suggests that the victim may have had affiliations with airplanes."

The letter also said that the suspect’s name is "Gordie".

The sheriff's office would like to speak with anyone that may have any information regarding the alleged homicide, or the identity of “Gordie”.

If you have any information, please contact Detective Ryan Dronek at (262)896-8139.
