Walker rides his Road King to Harley parade
MILWAUKEE - A parade Saturday celebrating Harley Davidson's 110th anniversary had a special guest. Governor Scott Walker was there to congratulate the company that drew people from all over the world to its anniversary part.
“Harley-Davidson has succeeded in creating more than a reliable motorcycle. They have created a pastime centered on celebrating our freedom. Congratulations to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and all their employees on giving us 110 years of memories and trips on the open road,” said Governor Walker.
Governor Walker rode his 100th Anniversary Edition Road King in many of the rides this weekend.
In addition, the governor was planning to participate in the 110th Women Rider's Day Parade on Sunday. That ride benefits breast cancer research.
