Walker responds to criticism, gun violence claims: 'Hogwash'
MADISON - Governor Scott Walker has responded to criticism of state efforts to deal with gun violence.
He called claims by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, Police Chief Edward Flynn, and democratic candidate for governor Mary Burke that the state refuses to deal with gun violence "hogwash."
Walker pointed out he signed the legislation helping to fund the "ShotSpotter" program, which pinpoints where guns are fired. Police used that program the night of Sierra Guyton's shooting.
