Walker attends Nation of Patriots event
BEAVER DAM - After 100 days, 14-thousand miles and 48 states, the annual Nation of Patriots ride is over. Governor Scott Walker was in Beaver Dam for the closing ceremony Saturday.
The annual ride pays tribute to past, present and fallen American service members. Funds raised during the ride provide financial support to families of wounded veterans.
“Our veterans and service members deserve our most humble gratitude,” These individuals have sacrificed an extraordinary amount for our country to protect our freedoms. It is now our duty to thank them every day and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice," Governor Walker said.
