MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Governor Walker are at odds over plans to renovate part of I-94.

One option includes building a double decker stretch of freeway near Miller Park. Barrett said that option will cost too much and have negative impacts on the area.
But Walker isn't ruling it out.
"From our stand-point we are going to have the Department of Transportation look at a way that fits the best needs of the people and employers here in the city of Milwaukee," Walker said.
The project could cost more than $1 billion.
Walker said a final decision is will not be made in the near future.
