PLATTEVILLE -- Community members in Plattevile came together Thursday night to thank the volunteers who are still helping to clean up after storm damage last month.

Hundreds of volunteers turned out in the moments following that storm in June. Tornadoes caused millions of dollars in damage in Platteville alone, and further damage across southcentral Wisconsin.

Meanwhile in Verona, a school damaged by a different tornado from the same storm is expected to be ready to open by the time school starts in September.
