ST. FRANCIS -- This congregation of people didn't just pray for change - these people made it happen.

Community Projects for Seniors organized a team of some 300 volunteers at the Marian Center for Nonprofits (MCFN) to prepare, package, and deliver over 4000 free, hot meals to seniors who may otherwise spend Easter Sunday alone.

Hundreds of seniors today also received care packages of household goods and toiletries. That's all thanks to the efforts of an Eagle Scout troupe and one of its most active members, 17-year-old Jarvis Meyer.

"I think it's a good thing because so many seniors don't have the availability to get the the household items they need," Meyer tells TODAY'S TMJ4.

Donations are welcome at anytime at the Community Projects' office at 3073 S. Chase Avenue #210 in Milwaukee.
