MILWAUKEE --  Friends and family members will gather this evening to remember Corey Stevenson Jr., the six-year-old boy who was struck and killed by a car last week.

The vehicle, driven by a 58-year-old Milwaukee woman, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Emergency crews performed CPR on Corey, but he died at the scene.

The vigil is planned for 6 p.m. Tuesday at 41st St. and North Ave., where the crash happened.
