Unemployment falls, despite job losses
MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin’s unemployment rate has dropped to it’s lowest level since 2008, but that’s despite the state losing 400 jobs.
The state Department of Workforce Development recently released the latest employment numbers for the month of May.
A new report also says the state added just over 28,000 jobs in 2013. That’s the weakest job growth the state has reported since Gov. Scott Walker took office.
