Travelling Harley-Davidson riders come to the party
MILWAUKEE- Harley-Davidson may be an American brand, but it has a global draw.
The 110Th anniversary has brought bikers to Milwaukee from countries like China, Brazil and Argentina.
But an Australian father and son may have traveled the furthest. Chris Lawson and his son Brody traveled nearly 11,000 miles from Perth, Australia to attend the bash.
"To own one and to be a part of the Harley’s owners group down under for us guys, it’s a big thing." Lawson said.
This was the second time the Aussie's have been to Milwaukee. The father and son attended Harley's 105Th Anniversary when Brody was just five-years-old.
"I've been a part of Harley for nine years now and I wouldn't miss it." said the ten-year-old.
Lawson said he estimates about two dozen Australians have traveled to Milwaukee for the event.
