Thousands without power in southeastern Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE - More than 8,000 customers were without power in southeastern Wisconsin Friday afternoon after storms rolled through the area, according to a We Energies spokesperson.
Most of the outages, about 6,000, were in Waukesha County, according to We Energies' Brian Manthey.
1,700 customers were without power in Waterford, 375 in East Troy, and 200 in Racine. About 8,500 total customers were experiencing outages.
As of 10:00 p.m. Friday, power had been restored to 7,000 customers. 2,300 are still without power.
