Thousands left without power after Monday storms
UPDATE 9:34 p.m. - Approximately 3,300 customers remain without power in southeast Wisconsin, We Energies confirms. 2,550 of those outages are in West Allis.
MILWAUKEE - Thousands of We Energies customers were left without power after multiple lines of severe weather rolled through southeast Wisconsin Monday.
Nearly 8,000 customers in total were left in the dark. A We Energies spokesperson said 5,200 of those customers were in the Heartland area, while 2,500 customers in West Allis were without power.
A smaller outage in Wauwatosa left 130 customers without power.
