Crews respond to tactical situation in Greendale
GREENDALE - Police and fire crews responded to a possible tactical situation in Greendale Tuesday morning.
It happened around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday near Oakwood Lane and South 60th Street, when police were called to perform a welfare check on a home in the area.
According to Greendale Police Chief Robert Malasuk, the situation developed after an argument between a man and woman who live together. The woman's 42-year-old son became concerned and fired one round at the other man.
Nobody was injured, and the 42-year-old man surrendered to police without incident, says Chief Malasuk. The man was taken into custody, and charges are pending.
