WAUKESHA - Things are back to normal after a suspicious package is found in Waukesha Friday night.

Police were called to the riverwalk around 7 p.m. They found a box wrapped in duct tape. The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was called in and the area was blocked off.

The device was proven to be a fake after it was detonated.  Police say it looked real enough.

"The package did appear to have been made to look or give the appearances as though it was a real explosive device," Waukesha Police Officer. Scott Planovsek explains.

Police will now look at security video from nearby businesses to see if they can identify the person that left the package.
