Suspects jump over counter, rob bank in Hales Corners

HALES CORNERS -- Police in Hales Corners are searching for two men accused of robbing a bank.

The robbery happened around noon on Monday at the Tri City National Bank, 5555 S 108th St.

According to the Hales Corners Police Department, both suspects jumped the counter and placed cash into a gray backpack. They then fled on foot and took off in a red Ford Explorer.

One suspect was wearing a maroon sweatshirt with black nylons on this face and a baseball hat, gloves and blue jeans. The other was wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, sunglasses and a tan baseball hat.

Both wore gloves.

Police also think a woman wearing white sunglasses was involved as well. She was observed opening an account at the bank around 11:30 a.m. and then seen getting into the suspects vehicle.
