Suspect sought in fatal Beloit shooting
BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- Police are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting at a party in Beloit.
A 19-year-old man was killed early Sunday in what police say was a targeted shooting. Officers were called to a residence about 2 a.m. on a report of shots being fired. They found the injured victim, who died later at the hospital.
Police Monday identified the victim as Armando Lopez of South Beloit, Ill. Authorities say he was at the party when he was shot. They have identified a 20-year man as a suspect.
