Students safe after fire in Seminary in Fond Du Lac County
MT CAVALRY -- Students at the St. Lawrence Seminary are returning to their dorms after a fire broke out in one section of the seminary.
Firefighters told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the section in which the fire broke out is considered a total loss.
Around 200 students were in their dorms when the fire broke out around 5:30 on Saturday morning.
The fire was contained to an area of the seminary used for classrooms and offices, and did not spread to the main building.
There's no word yet on what caused the fire, and no one was injured in the fire.
St. Lawrence Seminary is the nation's oldest Catholic High School Seminary.
