State Rep. Jim Ott fights for tougher drunk driving laws

MADISON - State Representative Jim Ott has been on the offensive. He's proposed eight bills that would toughen the state's drunk driving laws.

"I think we have a serious problem in Wisconsin," Rep. Ott says.

One of his bills has already passed the Assembly, and looks like it should get a stamp of approval from the Senate. 

It would require first-time offenders to actually appear in court in front of a judge.
