State Fair deals can save you cash

WEST ALLIS - The mad dash to get everything ready is underway before the gates open at the Wisconsin State Fair.

Fair officials say there are deals nearly everyday to save visitors cash.
 
It kicks off with the Wells Fargo Two Dollar Day Thursday. 
 
Fair Spokeswoman Kristi Chuckel says for just $2 and two cans of non-perishable food, you can get admission into the fair on opening day.
 
For $4, the State Fair Bargain Book can save visitors up to $250 on things like food, drink, games and rides.
 
"If you are going to come to the fair with your whole family or if your going to come multiple times, you can really save a lot of money with that bargain book," Chuckel said.
 
Inside the book is a coupon that will discount tickets for amusement rides at "Spin City" by $8 Dollars.
 
The Wisconsin State Fair will open Thursday at 8:00 am. Bargain books can be found at ticket booths or online.
