SHEBOYGAN -- A specialist has been working to thin Sheboygan's herd of urban deer since January, removing about 20 deer so far.
The Sheboygan Press reports the city had a permit to remove as many as 50 deer on the city's north side.
People living in the area had complained of damage done to shrubs, flower beds, and gardens by the deer.
The project cost about $7,000. All the meat was donated to food pantries in the area.
