MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police could be closer to solving nearly two dozen sexual assault cases throughout the city.

Investigators believe Scott Dykas may be responsible for at least 20 sexual assaults. Police caught up with Dykas near N. Maryland Ave., where a woman flagged officers down and claimed the man grabbed her inappropriately.

Dykas ran off, and police had to chase him before arresting him. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt when officers found him - and the m.o. of this east side assault matches countless others in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood.

A police tracking system also spotted the man's car in many of the areas where the assaults took place. Police are hoping Dyka's DNA will help bring closure to nearly two dozen victims.

Shayna had just moved into the Bay View neighborhood last August when word of the sexual assaults made headlines.
"Of course it's concerning anytime you hear about something like that in your neighborhood," said Shayna."
Instead of running scared Shayna got more involved in her new neighborhood.
She followed the news of the assaults on Bay View's Town Hall Facebook page and attended meetings with police as the community rallied to stand together.
"This community is really great, you always know this community is looking out for you," said Shana. "I think people will feel really relieved. I think that's really wonderful that there's one less bad person on the street but that's not going to be the last one."
