WASHINGTON, DC – The Senate is expected to vote on the bipartisan budget bill Wednesday.

If the budget passes, President Obama said he will sign it. The bill funds the government for the next two years, meaning no threat of a government shutdown in that time.

The Senate is in a rush to get this to the president before he leaves on Christmas vacation later this week.
