Rolling vehicle strikes, kills Milwaukee man
MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man was killed Sunday when a disabled vehicle rolled backward and struck him.
Milwaukee police said the victim stopped and exited his minivan when it became disabled around around 8:15 p.m. in the 6100 block of N. 118th St.
The van, stopped on a slight incline, began to roll backward, striking the man after he ran to the rear in an attempt to stop it, according to police.
The 56-year-old man died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
