Suspects in Glendale parking lot shooting arrested
UPDATE: All the suspects involved in last Thursday's shopping center parking lot shooting have been arrested. Glendale police say charges are still pending.
GLENDALE - Police are still investigating a shooting outside a busy strip mall in Glendale.
They say a man was treated for a minor gun shot wound to the head and is talking with investigators about what happened. At last check, a suspect was not in custody.
Officers searched a car with a rear window blown out perhaps by a stray bullet.
Police were called to the busy shopping center on North Port Washington Road mid-afternoon.
"It's definitely scary that's for sure," said Cynthia Drewek.
Drewek arrived after police were already on the scene. Officers say they were responding to a report of a subject being threatened with a gun and possible shots fired.
A witness tells TODAY'S TMJ4 she saw a man running in fear for his life and yelling; "Don't play with me."
That witness then ran into a store to take cover. Police searched the parking lot for possible clues. The car with the broken window was towed away.
"It's very nice. Glendale's very nice. I've lived here forever, and I'm sorry to hear that, I am," said Drewek.
