MILWAUKEE - Newly unsealed documents say the main suspect had been planning to steal a Stradivarius violin for more than a decade.

Universal Knowledge and Salah Salahadyn have been charged with attacking concertmaster Frank Almond and stealing the violin January 27th.

Police traced the stun gun to Allah, but it was an ex-con who tipped off detectives about Salahadyn's plan.

The man who said he served jail time with Salahadyn years ago said the man was obsessed with stealing one of the rare instruments.

Both men have posted bond and are out of jail.

Salahadyn is expected to return to court next week.

Allah is scheduled in March.
