WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday Congress begins the process of trying to pass the latest federal budget.

Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan announced a bi-partisan budget agreement with Democratic Senator Patty Murray Tuesday night. Ryan says the deal will avoid another government shutdown.

“I think alleviating government shutdowns does alleviate a lot of the uncertainty that has been plaguing this country and this capital,” Ryan said.

Any deal would have to pass the House and Senate before getting signed by the president.
