RACINE COUNTY - We're expecting a lot of snow this weekend, especially here in Racine County.  That’ll create a mess on highways and in smaller places where a man wishes he could help clear the snow, but can't because his ATV with a snow plow was stolen from his driveway.

Matthew Snorek uses his ATV to plow his driveway. He also helps neighbors clear their driveways. Now, the $6,500 ATV is gone.

“Believe it or not, I almost felt like I was going to faint and pass out,” remembers Snorek. “My knees got kind of weak; I got butterflies in my stomach. I started seeing stars. It was really kind of shocking.”

He heard the beeps from the motion sensor, but didn't think anything of it. A short time later he walked out to his driveway and saw that the ATV was gone. All that was left were tracks in the snow, and the plow blade, which the thieves tore off.

“It’s been suggested that maybe if someone wanted to use this for just a joyride, to just beat on the machine a little bit, they would abandon the blade,” says Snorek.

He hopes someone who knows something will come forward.

“I’ve turned to a number of social media sites. I’ve printed over 200 flyers,” explains Snorek.

He's also offering a reward for the ATV’s return.
