MILWAUKEE - President Barack Obama is expected to arrive in Milwaukee for an official White House visit Monday morning.

The president will speak at 1:55 p.m. at the annual Laborfest rally at Henry Maier Festival Park.

Organizers said they've been scrambling to work on last minute details like security and logistics after it was announced President Obama would attend. Sheila Cochran is the head of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council and helps organize the event.

"I got word the President was going to be in Milwaukee on Wednesday," she said.

Laborfest will begin with a rally at Zeidler Square at 10 a.m., and groups will then march through downtown to the Summerfest Grounds one hour later.

President Obama attended the same event back in 2010.
