More trouble could be on the way for tens of thousands of people in the northeast still without power after an ice storm.

There are concerns that snow and strong winds Thursday could knock down more power lines. Repairs crews spent their Christmases working to get service restored to thousands of homes still in the dark.

"We've called, we've talked to our family members. But we're glad to be here. It's very rewarding to be here and help people out," said repair worker Larry Cockrum.

Freezing temperatures have been hampering the recovery process.

Last weekend's storm is blamed for 17 deaths.
