Pope Francis to auction off his Harley-Davidson for charity
ROME - Pope Francis plans to auction off his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, all for a good cause.
The pope was presented with the Harley earlier this year when he gave a blessing to hundreds of riders, according to Yahoo. The money earned from the auction will go to organizations that help a Roman hostel and soup kitchen.
The director of the charity expressed his thanks to the pontiff for the donation.
“It is a precious gift that has once again made us happy in feeling the closeness of our bishop to the poor of the Church of Rome," said Enrico Feroci. "We are deeply grateful to Pope Francis for this," he said at a recent press conference."
