MENOMONEE FALLS -- The Menomonee Falls Police Department has provided an update to Thursday's night's crash that happened before the city's 4th of July parade.

They say a 19-year-old woman from Milwaukee, who was driving north on Appleton Ave., swerved to avoid hitting a 20-year-old man who had darted into the roadway. That's when the car jumped the median, htting two more onlookers.

That 20-year-old man, from Sussex, along with a 15-year-old boy from Menomonee Falls, were treated and released from a nearby hospital.

A 12-year-old girl from Germantown remains hospitalized, but her injuries are not life-threatening, and are not believed to be as serious as initially feared.

The police department has not yet determined whether charges will be filed against the woman.
