Police officers take "No Shave November" challenge, all for charity
GENEVA - A group of police officers won't look so clean-cut in a few days.
They are taking the challenge of growing out their facial hair for "No Shave November".
The officers’ mustaches and beards will actually be a fundraiser for C.O.P.S., or Concerns of Police Survivors, a program that supports families of officers that died in the line of duty.
At the end of the month, the town will vote on the best and worst. If one of them doesn't make it the entire month, it's cost the officer $50.
Donations should be directed to the Police Department in the name of C.O.P.S. They will be taking any donations until the end of the month.
