WEST ALLIS - Police are investigating a robbery that also involved a shooting at a gas station in West Allis. It happened early Monday morning near 60th Street and National Avenue.

The owner of the gas station told TODAY’S TMJ4’s Samara Sodos that two masked men robbed the convenience store. One of the men then reportedly shot a clerk in the stomach. Police said the 25-year-old male employee was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Surveillance video shows two masked men walk into the West Allis convenience store around 1:30 Monday morning. One charges toward the clerk, gun in hand, while the other one stands in the doorway as a lookout. At the very top of the screen, the gunman shoots the clerk and runs out.

Police want you to look at these guys and what they're wearing very carefully. Both men are described as black, wearing white masks. But it's one suspect's jacket that police think could be the clue they need. It's a blue hooded sweatshirt with white dots, and it stands out.
