Parents to shadow their 'kids' at Milwaukee company
MILWAUKEE - You've heard of "Take Your Child To Work Day" or even "Take Your Pet To Work Day," but a Milwaukee advertising agency is taking it a step further on Friday.
"We're hosting an event called 'Take Your Parents To Work Day,'" said John Mose, a Senior Vice President and Director of Public Relations at Cramer-Krasselt.
It's a way for employees to show their parents what they do for a living.
"Our parents don't always know what it means to work for an advertising agency or what we do on a day to day basis. We thought it would be a fun and creative way to show them the inside of an advertising agency."
Moms and dads will shadow their "children" and see how ads are created from start to finish. They'll construct a PR campaign, participate in a brainstorming session, and if they come up with any good ideas, those might even end up in an ad.
"I hope so. There's nothing I like better than getting a good free idea," laughed Mose.
