Oconomowoc hit hard by Wednesday storms
OCONOMOWOC -- For the second day in a row, powerful storms swept through Wisconsin. Earlier Wednesday, the menacing dark gray sky opened up, pouring buckets of rain. It sounded like pebbles hitting cars, the rain was so strong.
Scott Fanshaw was at a job for Aqua Care Services when the storm hit.
“I was in a crawl space, and I crawled out, into a large downpour,” Fanshaw said. “We got another shower this morning.”
At one point, it was nearly impossible to see the road, and everyone had their wipers on at full speed.
“I didn’t hear any thunder, but I could hear just the sheets of water, the trees moving. It was a good one,” says Fanshaw.
Locals tell TODAY’S TMJ4 they’ve seen worse storms; still, they’re relieved it’s over.
