Just ahead of his State of the Union address tonight, President Obama is using an executive order to increase the minimum wage for federal contract workers.

It will rise from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour. This is just one effort to build momentum for a minimum wage hike for all Americans.
This will affect more than 2 million employees.  A Quinnipiac University poll this month found 71 percent of Americans in favor of raising the minimum wage.
