Oak Creek approves extra money for potholes
OAK CREEK -- The city of Oak Creek has approved an extra $50,000 to fix potholes around town.
"This is almost 75 percent over what we normally get," said Ralph Kneusel with the Oak Creek Department of Public Works. "For road maintenance we get between $50,000 and $75,000 a year, so this extra $50,000 will help quite a bit."
Crews will not be able to make permanent repairs until temperatures reach above freezing.
