OAK CREEK, Wis. - The Packers may have lost to the 49ers, but the game was a giant win for a local serviceman.  U.S. Navy Chief Master Diver Eric Eberle was honored on the field, along with his family.

Eberle grew up in Mt. Pleasant.  He was in town visiting family in Oak Creek when his wife bought tickets to a Packers game and on the website, submitted a quick request for him to be recognized. Wish granted.  Eberle was invited onto the field on what some were calling Ice Bowl #2.

Eberle said he planned to bundle up for the game.

"On the field I'll be wearing my dress uniform and then I'll be running into a bathroom as quickly as possible and putting on about eight layers," said Eberle.

Eberle is a huge Green Bay Packers fan.  He not only bleeds green and gold, his house is also painted green and gold.
