MEQUON - Plow operator Steve Ogens might have said it best.

"Light or heavy snow, it doesn't matter. It's all a pain."

Ogens saddled up in his plow at 10:00 p.m. Sunday and didn't end his shift until 6:00 a.m. We met him midway through.

"It's rough," Ogens told TODAY'S TMJ4. "There's a lot of snow out here."

Mequon recorded more than five inches of snow on Sunday. The storm blanketed Port Washington Road and Mequon Road - the city's two main arteries.

By daybreak, however, most of the roads cleared, but some drivers (smartly) slowed down around intersections and exit ramps.

Despite the half foot of snow, Mequon PD avoided a snow emergency and reported no overnight crashes on city streets.
