MILWAUKEE - Listening to Erica Lofton sing, it's hard to believe she is only 12 years old. Her Mom Patricia Taylor is proud of her daughter, but even more proud of her soul.

Taylor explains, "She's always had a big heart, a giving heart and a loving heart."

Lofton uses her music to raise money for good causes. From lupus awareness, to church, she often holds concerts throughout the Milwaukee area.

For her 10th birthday, Erica did not want presents. Instead, she asked for donations to earthquake victims in Haiti. Erica even founded a club called "Girls in Action."

Taylor explains, "They do positive things in the community. They use teamwork to promote manners, self, esteem, social, and communications skills."

Erica is even a good student who hopes to go to medical school and sing professionally. Erica Lofton is a model child, making many people smile. She sings songs like she lives her life, from the heart.
