Milwaukee police investigating 4 shootings

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating four shootings in less than a day.

The first shooting occurred at 2:05 p.m. near Hopkins Street and Hampton Avenue in the Citgo Gas parking lot. A masked man tried to rob a victim, who fought back, and was shot. The suspect fled in a 2010-2014 Brown Honda Accord.

The second shooting occurred at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday near 29th Street and Lisbon Avenue. Police said a 25-year-old female was shot in an apparent prostitution related argument. The suspect, a Hispanic male, was last seen in a 2002 Tan Cadillac 4-door vehicle.

The third shooting occurred at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday near 76th Street and Glendale Avenue. A 24-year-old showed up at a Milwaukee Fire Department engine house with a gunshot wound.

The fourth shooting happened around 12:50 a.m. Wednesday near 27th Street and Hopkins Avenue. The victim was shot twice in the leg. No one's in custody
